"This year 331 attendees and professionals from 44 countries have attended the 20. Nuclear Medical Defence Conference, the first time under the new name ConRad, “Global Conference on Radiation Topics – Preparedness, Response, Protection and Research”.

 


 

Radiation accident preparedness, management and response, radiation protection as well as new research findings in the fields of radiation medicine and radiobiology have been the key topics. The conference was very successful as many important issues including the future perspective in this particular domain of nuclear medical defence were addressed and discussed resulting in a multidisciplinary exchange of experience and expertise.
